Q1 Review, Replay, and Important Announcements!

My raw Q1 review, lessons from rejection, and the powerful replay that will ignite your writing journey!

I apologize for my last post. I didn’t realize that my incomplete draft was scheduled to go live. Please enjoy the clean and edited version below!

Hey Friends,

Greetings from Dr. Isaac's Achalugo! About a week ago, I made a post on my wedding anniversary, and my goodness, Facebook people ate it and left no crumbs. šŸ˜… Nigerians loooooove a good boy/girl conversation - maybe a little too much. Honestly, there are weightier matters, bikonu! Let’s stay focused on Jesus and WRITING in Jesus' name. Amen?

Speaking of focus, I’m about to step into a personal Quarterly Review with my destiny sisters, and I thought, why not share my Q1 review format with you? If this helps you in any way, hit reply and tell me all about it. I love hearing from you!

Q1 Review Questions

What were the top 3 big wins of the past 3 months and why?
  1. Speaking Opportunities - I had the highest number of teaching and speaking engagements this quarter since I started speaking publicly and honestly. I’m not surprised. As we stepped into 2025, I discerned this was coming. I even generated my Word for the Year with AI (yes, I let the robots help me hear God better šŸ˜†). I'm beyond grateful because I LOVE teaching. It's a rare gift that transforms others while deeply impacting me, too.

  2. Health & Fitness - The real win here isn't just weight loss; it’s knowledge. I’ve gained a deep awareness of my eating patterns, struggles, and strongholds. And let me tell you, grace is real! I even did a 3-day water fast- as in, nothing but water and felt incredible afterward. With all I’m learning, I see this becoming my new normal (Jesus, help your daughter!).

  3. Consistent Content - I finally invested in my social media this quarter, and while I’m not getting a million views (yet šŸ‘€), I see growth, potential, and coherence. The seeds are being planted, and I’m here for the long game.

Now, your turn! What are your top 3 wins from this quarter? Hit reply and let me know

What were the 3 biggest challenges, and what did you learn from them?

  1. Dealing with Rejection – This quarter, I heard ā€œNOā€ so much that it could have been my middle name. I didn’t even realize how deeply it was wounding my soul until I stepped into a Friday meeting with my FRUITFUL Leading sisters. A dear sister shared the lyrics of a song, and I bawled like a baby. Gosh. I literally experienced Psalm 23 -ā€œHe restores my soulā€- in that moment. God is good. Jesus is so beautifully kind. And I love him to the moon and back.

  2. Divine Direction - Some areas of my life still feel hazy. One big example? Relocation. I can’t put my finger on it yet, but this uncertainty has driven me to seek God even harder. And shebi He said, ā€œSeek and you will findā€? I want to find my answers in Him

  3. Disorganization and Distractions - One of my life goals is to be a professional in every area of my life- to show up 100% for my calling, the people God has sent me to, and the assignments He has graced me for. No self-sabotage, no talking myself out of a life of impact and income. But let’s just say… this quarter? Ehn, I didn’t live up to my own standards. My moods dictated too many of my actions instead of my commitments and values. This stops now. I want to be led by purpose, not emotions.

What are the top 3 aspirations for the coming 3 months?

  1. TGOM /Scribe Secrets/SAW Community - As I write this, I’m not completely sure which of these three I should narrow in on. But one thing is certain: I want to see these things fully birthed in 2025. Help me, Lord!

  2. Application Submissions - Some big moves are happening (I’ll spill the tea when the time is right ). For now, just keep me in your prayers.

  3. Online Courses - I’m currently enrolled in three courses covering storytelling, TEFL, and digital marketing (landing pages, ads, etc). Who sent me? 😭 I’m this close to labeling myself a knowledge junkie! But hey, growth is growth!

My dearest friends, your girl is about to do something unprecedented - I’m logging off sometime! Yes, yes, I know… "How will we cope?" lol. Don't cry too much; it’s just a short break (even Jesus took time away to recharge!).

But before you start writing me emotional letters (or composing a song in my honor), here’s what you can do while I’m away:

I’ll be back soon, refreshed and ready to drop more divine downloads! Until then, stay scribal, stay prayerful, and don’t miss me too much. Happy New Month, and Cheers to a glorious Q2. See you soon! āœšŸ½

PS: Enjoy wholesome content like the one I’m recommending below. I watched it a few days ago, and the whole conversation was a spiritually intellectual treat! Gaise Baba and his ā€œuplinesā€ in a free-flowing conversation was too sweet to watch. Kai! You will thank me later.

With all my love,

Ugonne Ann (The Author’s Coach)
