My 2025 So Far: The Unposted Stories (January–July recap)
A personal mid-year review from my little corner of the internet

God incidences
Hey friend,
I’m so thrilled to be writing this newsletter because this space is officially now my safe zone. Think of it as my “personal diary gone public.” I’m not here to scale or grow numbers anymore. This newsletter is where I show up raw and unfiltered - typos, scattered thoughts, and all.
It’s me giving you updates, documenting life, and gisting with you like we’re on MTN midnight call…..chai…who remembers those good old days? But honestly, I’ve even thought about making my beehiiv newsletter private - just for those of us on this email list. No public link. No open access. Just us. What do you think? Should it be our exclusive corner? Reply and let me know.
Right now, we’re 253 people strong. And it feels sweet to know I’m writing to just you. My inner caucus. So today, I want to give you a little 2025 mid-year review - the unposted stories. A glimpse into my first 180+ days and why, despite everything, gratitude has been my loudest song.
2025 So Far: The Unposted Stories
This year has been… whew. One heck of a ride. Some stories are too personal to share, but here’s what I can say:
I have seen God’s hand.
I have seen His faithfulness.
I’ve known Him before, but this year? I’ve touched dimensions of him that leave me in complete awe of his love.
If I were to describe Him in one name for 2025, it would be The Grand Weaver.
Because that’s exactly what He has been doing - weaving my scattered pieces, setbacks, and wins into a beautiful tapestry.
And maybe that’s why I’m writing this to you—not just to review my own journey, but to encourage you to do the same.
Take time to reflect. Document the proofs. Name the miracles. List the little (and big) evidences of grace. Because when you sit with your own story, you begin to connect the dots. Even the dots that don’t yet make sense.

Why You Should Journal Your 180 Days
And this is why journaling is super important. Omo, if you don’t journal, I honestly don’t know how you make sense of your life. Reflection is how hindsight births foresight.
When you pause to document - whether through journaling, voice notes, or even pictures, you’ll notice patterns you missed. You’ll rediscover answered prayers. You’ll see miracles you once brushed off because you were too busy surviving.
📌Recommended Resource: If journaling isn’t your thing, I recommend learning from people who teach it well. My sister-friend Eziaha Bolaji Olojo has a powerful course on journaling. It’ll help you consciously slow down and be present with the present. Click on the link below to check it out.
My Inspiration
By the way, I was inspired to do this publicly after joining Visioning Summit Next 150. I had already written a private review for myself, but when DDK spoke about cultivating a lifestyle of gratitude and intentionally infiltrating our lives with thanksgiving, it hit me again.
Don’t just thank God quietly. Tell the story. Share the proofs. Write it down. Post it. Journal it. Archive it in your emails. Because at the end of the day, whether your 2025 so far has been filled with “yeses” or “nos,” beauty or heartbreak, clarity or confusion - one truth stands: God has been good. And if you zoom out, you’ll see it: the tapestry He is weaving.
A Year of Continuums and Completions

For me, 2025 feels like a year of “continuums and completions.” Some things are wrapping up. Some are still unfolding. But all of it is threaded with grace.
And I’m grateful. Deeply.
So here’s my little exercise for you:
📓 Journal your first 180 days of 2025.
📸 Document with pictures if that helps.
🙏🏾 Let gratitude be your lens.
Then, if you’re brave enough, share it maybe with your community, maybe with your mentors, maybe even with me. I’d love to hear your reflections.
Reply to this email and let me know what resonated with you. So, without further ado, let’s dive into my 2025-in-pictures review.

What’s Next
This personal newsletter is my “come-as-you-are” space. Biko, don’t expect weekly drops- it’ll come as I feel led. But if you want my structured, practical work - the coaching, frameworks, and strategies… you’ll find all that in The Scribe Report.
That’s where I break down writing, publishing, and author-building strategies. If you’re a writer (or planning to become one), make sure you’re subscribed. I have so much in store, including a deep dive on Alex Hormozi’s $100M Money Models and how authors can adapt his insights.
Trust me, you don’t want to miss it. Click the link below to subscribe if you haven’t.
