I Finally Hit My Weight Loss Goal — But What I Learned Shocked Me!
The unexpected lessons that will help you write (and finish) your book!

Pregnancy will humble you!😅
Let me take you back to 2022—the year I had my second baby. Just before giving birth to Nathan, I stepped on the scale one of those days and saw 100kg. One whole hundred! A baby girl like me…. How?
To make matters worse, A few months after putting to bed, I later discovered I had Diastasis Recti (ab separation), which meant my core was weak, my belly refused to ‘snap back,’ and if I did any small work, my back would hurt like I did some heavy lifting. I knew I needed to lose weight because things kept getting worse.
Since last year, I have been on a serious mission to shed some good weight. And let me say - losing weight as a mom in her mid-thirties is not beans! This seriousness didn’t start today, o. In fact, there was a time in early 2024 when I got so gingered. I did all the prep -shopped for healthy food, printed meal plans, gathered exercise routines, and even created tracking sheets.
For two whole weeks, I was on fire! My energy levels were off the charts, my sleep was heavenly, and I felt like that girl again. But then…I fell off the wagon. And I fell Haaaard. Then in November, I finally made a bold move and signed up for Coach E’s weight loss program, which changed everything. (Coach E, if you’re reading this, You know I love you! God bless you, sis!)
Even after joining the program, the struggle continued—one week, I’d lose weight; the next week, I'd gain it back. But I stayed with it. It hasn’t been easy, and I’m still on the journey (my goal is 67-70kg), but guess what? For the first time in over five years, I finally saw 80.9kg on the scale at the end of February! 🎉

But beyond the weight loss, I learned something HUGE—something that applies to writing your book, too. Here’s what weight loss taught me about book writing & publishing:
Exercise alone won’t make you lose weight. I believed this myth until I joined JWFR. In the same way, many aspiring authors believe myths about book writing and publishing that are simply NOT true!
The right knowledge changes everything. When I applied SPECIFIC knowledge I picked up since joining the program, I saw results faster than I imagined. Writing a book is the same. When you get the right guidance, the process becomes easier.
Spiritual strongholds are real. You need God’s light, prayers, and revelation to break through barriers holding you back—whether in weight loss or book writing.
It’s about building a lifestyle. A quick-fix diet won’t work in the long run. Neither will rushing to write a book without the right mindset and foundation. Sustainable success requires intentionality.
Community & accountability change EVERYTHING. If there’s one thing that has kept me going, it’s the support of a structured, goal-driven community. This is also the game-changer for writing your book! This is why I created S.A.W—Scribes, Authors, and Writers - a community where women get clarity, accountability, and expert guidance to birth the books God has placed in their hearts.

Inside SAW, you will:
✅ Build a consistent writing habit—You’ll be posting long-form content online, helping you develop your voice and confidence.
✅ Grow spiritually—We pray weekly because writing isn’t just physical; it’s a calling that requires divine backing.
✅ Get expert guidance—I’ll be teaching and mentoring you to navigate the writing and publishing process.
✅ Receive powerful accountability—No more struggling alone! You’ll be surrounded by like-minded women who will push you forward.
This is the community That Will Change Your Writing Life because we don’t just write —we birth books, shape culture, and advance God’s agenda through our words. Don’t hear it from alone. Hear what Eniola Oyegunle, The author of the book, A Champion Speaks had to say about the S.A.W community.
Most writing groups just give you tips & motivation. SAW trains you spiritually & strategically to be a disciplined, influential writer.
Most writing groups leave you to figure things out alone. SAW holds you accountable so you don’t keep quitting on yourself.
Most writing groups focus on writing as a hobby. SAW teaches you how to turn your writing into a platform, movement, or book.
