How my book helped save a 24-week old baby in NICU

Hey friends,

Welcome to the last week of October. How has it been for you? Omo! The stretch has been real. Talk about baby showers, webinars, 72-page assignments, Apple picking, prayer meetings, homeschooling, newsletters, teaching English, etc. My life is kind of full, but it's rich, drama-free, and evolving, and I love every bit of it.

Today, I want to share a testimony that truly blessed my heart. Listen, we serve a good God. And I call him "The Grand Weaver" because the way he weaves and intertwines our lives and journeys, to produce things of eternal significance is absolutely stunning! Ahhhhhh!

I hadn't seen or spoken to one of my beloved sister-friends in a while until she reached out recently. I was excited to hear from her and we were catching up on life only for me to discover that she had had another baby! I danced and rejoiced and asked for the full gist. That's when she began to tell me this amazing testimony below.

“i was asked to terminate at 24 weeks because my BP was uncontrollable and my kidneys were failing .....BUT GOD 🙌

We got to 34 weeks but she was taken immediately to NICU. I didn’t see her until after 9 days. All her doctors kept saying they didn’t know how she recovered fully and gained the required weight without major intervention. Her name is NASYA (miracle of YAHWEH)"

The moment she mentioned "Terminate", my mind quickly raced back to 2019 when I was pregnant with my first son. Around the time Zite was 5 months old in my tummy, they asked me to ABORT HIM! They said they found something unusual in his lungs that looked like cysts, and the doctors believed it could be dangerous.

I remember how devastating it felt at the time, but this was the experience that drove me to God and his word. At the end of the day, not only did I have a healthy baby, but motherhood became my game-changer.
