Gaise Baba, Prophecy & the Rise of Scribes(Part 1)!

Let me gist you what my last few weeks have looked like. I will not even lie to you…

My recent IG routine has become something else. For the past 3 weeks (more or less), Every time I open Instagram, I head straight to one man’s account: Gaise Baba. I’ve been behaving like like the young man’s unofficial Instagram PA. 😅 I open IG and bam!….straight to his stories. No time for Explore page o.

I’ve been glued, fascinated, and lowkey obsessed with what’s unfolding in real-time with this viral move of God in music ministry. I’,m sure you already know na because we can never turn back o… No.. No! It’s already too late oo! Listen…..this thing is not just a viral moment - it’s a full-blown prophetic eruption that has me shook in my spirit and stirred in my soul.

When I first noticed and started paying attention, he was still around 129k followers on IG. Two to three weeks later? we are at 215k and counting. The song itself is currently on 10 million+ views in less than a month. Something is clearly happening. And it’s not just growth - it’s glory. A whole shift is unfolding before our eyes.

And in the same year when we’ve had some of the biggest gbas gbos in the gospel music scene - label wars, drama, clapbacks left and right (Shebi it’s me and you that watched Prophet suddenly part 3). It’s as if God just said, “Let me show y’all something real quick.”And boom! Uncle Gaise entered the scene!

As I’ve been watching, my scribe senses have been tingling because this thing is not just for entertainment, it has to be documented. Curriculum is forming. Conversations are shifting. We’re witnessing a masterclass in stewardship, prophetic timing, epoch moments, heart posture, times and seasons, and culture shaping.

At some point I caught myself asking “Ah ah, where are the scribes?! Who is writing this down?! I hope someone somewhere is documenting this… because this is monumental.”

But as I said it, it hit me — Ugonne, Are YOU not a scribe? Write what you see!
Omo… I said “Okay, Sir. Say less.”

The Backstory You Didn’t Ask For (But Will Be Glad You Heard)

Some of you know I officially started writing these newsletters on Beehiiv in 2022. I was just vibing and talking about anything from motherhood to Netflix to whatever fine revelation dropped in devotion. 😂 I called it Ugonne Ann’s Newsletter and it attracted everybody and their cousin. It was sweet, but I knew I was transitioning.

In recent months, my focus has sharpened: Writing. Publishing. Equipping women to birth books and steward prophetic callings with pen and paper.

Still, I didn’t want to just rebrand the old. I knew there was something new on the horizon. And then, a few mornings ago, during my devotion time, this thought dropped as clear as day:

And just like that, the name landed -The Scribe Report. Shagadabaya! 💃🏾🔥

Why This Matters Now

Watching Gaise Baba’s breakout has been a full-blown prophetic masterclass. And I believe it’s not just a trend, it’s a template. A blueprint for creatives. A divine case study of how to show up, steward prophecy, and shift culture.
