It's my Birthday Today and I'm Mind-Blown!

Welcome to Year 35!

Birthday Girl

*When I think about the things that you've done

My imagination has turned to reality.

Oh my Lord o, you do this one o.

You do this one oo*

Yoooo! I am genuinely mindblown right now. It's 1:54 am on May 10th and I was thinking about my birthday today and thought to check out the ADN letter I wrote that day and....😳😮!!LOOK AT GOD YAAAALLL! JUST NEGODU CHINEKE NNA!

ADN Letters is a thoughtful and existential letter I write on my birthdays where I write from the perspective that I could be gone Any Day Now hence ADN means "Any Day Now".

So last year I was writing “What if I had all the resources I need, and I'll be gone by 11th May 2024, what are the things that I'll start to do?"

I wrote a long list of things that I'd love to do. Let me share some of them with you so that you'll catch the drift -

I'll book a flight to Nigeria as soon as possible with my boys to see every family member. Then we'll go on vacations, holidays, places, events, etc, taking pictures, making videos, and documenting it all as we enjoy every moment.

- I DID!

I'll tell my Chinese friends especially Doris that I'm leaving and sit down for a meal and some prayers.

- I DID

I'll go and see DDK and give her a big hug, a huge gift, and thank her for everything.

- I DID

I'll visit Aunty Faith in Delta State. See Temitope and Pamela in Lagos and call Eziaha to give her one big hug.

- I DID.

I'll write my last book. I'll put everything I've got into it and launch it like a festival.

- I LAUNCHED 2 BOOKS

I'll start building a magnificent K-12 school called "TILT". I'll leave a big handbook of the vision, mission, core values, operations, and blueprint for running TILT ACADEMY anywhere in the world.

- I DID. Maybe not in those exact terms, but this vision got me into VCAP.

I AM COMPLETELY BLOWN AWAY AND BEDAZZLED! The crazy part is that I haven't looked at this letter again since I wrote it up until yesterday. And so I must share some of the most powerful lessons I've learned in the past 1 year.

5 Big Realizations/Lessons from Year 34

1. The power of vision - Vision and visualization are powerful and writing is how you bottle the first stages of manifestation. The things burning in your heart are not random or coincidences, especially when your heart is free from guile, bitterness, pain, jealousy, and all those nasty emotions. When you are free from these things your heart becomes an easy portal for divine ideas, vision, and inspiration. You'll know what has been written concerning you almost naturally and become a magnet of possibilities.

2. Impossibility is nothing - One of the biggest things that happened in my mind in the last year is the realization that "Nothing is impossible". Ah! I was healed of the possibility blindness. I never thought we would be able to travel as a family back to Nigeria, because of how expensive it was but we did it regardless. All the resources I needed just kept coming and I did everything I wanted and more. Or is it VCAP? If you asked me back in 2021, VCAP was definitely out of my radar because we are talking thousands of dollars but look at me, today. Impossibility is nothing, my friend. Everything is about vision and going for that compelling image in your spirit with gusto and intention. You will see how everything will connive into manifestation.

3. I love my life - My heart is full of a billion and 1 thanks to Abba for my life. It's not perfect and I don't have a million dollars yet but there's motion, genuine growth, and progress and I love it. I love being a mom, an author, and a visionary. My life is peaceful, drama-free, inspirational, meaningful, and full of Jubilant Joy.

My Happy Place!

With social media, it's so easy to get sucked into being a spectator of others that you don't see the gorgeous life you're living. I am supremely grateful for what God is making out of my ordinary life. It's gorgeous!

4. The Wealthy Woman - This is God's genuine desire for me and you. Over the last year, God kept using teachings, books, and situations to bring me to the realization that even if I don't come from a wealthy family, a wealthy family must come out of me... And Wealth here is beyond cash. There are at least 8 degrees of wealth that you can manifest in your life. Let me give you one simple example of a degree of wealth called Health. My kids {A 4 & 1-year-old} traveled to Nigeria for the first time in their lives and through all the changes in environment and cuisine, several flights, and mosquito bites in the village, they never fell sick for once.

The malaria drugs we bought on our way back to China are still sitting pretty in my box because no one needed them. That's a testament to the degree of wealth called health that God has bestowed on us as a family.

5. Covenant Prayers - This was the prevailing the last year. God was drawing me into a place of deeper, concentrated, strategic, and even more demanding times of prayer. Covenant prayers have informed and shaped how I live my life and my relationship with God.

The lesson here is that even when you can't keep track, or it doesn't make sense, you're not seeing results, or you make a promise and fail, don't stop praying. One day, you'll look back in hindsight and connect the dots. You'll see the unique and beautiful story God is telling with your life.
