Are you the weapon fashioned against your destiny?

I was on a call with a fellow writer and scribe the other day when she started sharing her book-writing struggles with me. As I listened, I noticed a phrase kept repeating itself.

"...I'm not a writer"

"...I know I'm not a writer"

"...even though I'm not a writer"

The lady saying this has a powerful book title, and knows exactly what the future book she'll write will be about and who it is for. I laughed in my mind because I could relate

If you asked me if I was a writer some years ago, I would have probably sounded exactly like her. If you asked me that question a decade ago, I would have told you “No” with my full chest.

But here I am today with three books and counting and a growing sense of conviction in this mission of raising the next generation of authors, writers, storytellers, and scribes for God's kingdom agenda.

Let me tell you two little secrets -

1. What you know about you today is not all there is to know about you.

2. You don't have everything you need to fulfill your purpose and the current demands of your destiny.

You know by now that execution requires more than skills and talents. Your gifts are good but they are just the down payment for the possibilities ahead of you. There are so many other things that you are capable of that you have yet to find out.

And it's only when you get on the journey of purpose and vision in partnership with God that you will begin to discern and discover these gifts and how to use them.

This is part of the reason why I decided to host "The Scribe Identity" Workshop. I want to help writers and scribes get out of the way of their manifestation.
